MRC Indigenous Film Series - Starts Feb. 8th!

MRC is hosting an indigenous film series with screenings on the second Thursday of every month of 2018, beginning February 8th. We will highlight indigenous history and spirit as seen through the eyes of indigenous film directors, producers, and actors. The films will explore various themes such as the importance of indigenous song and culture, life on the reservation, family, oppression, and resistance.

All screenings will take place at 516 W MLK Street at 7 PM. There will be opportunity for discussion following the screenings with various indigenous peoples including Sachem “Chief” of Cayuga Nation. A donation of $10 is encouraged.
