OPEN HOUSE TO INTRODUCE NEW RESOURCES FOR FAMILIES OF INCARCERATED COMMUNITY MEMBERS
New York State Alliance of Families for Justice (AFJ) launches New Ithaca Office, names Phoebe Brown Regional Coordinator for Central New York

WHAT: The New York Alliance of Families for Justice to host open house launching Central New York Office, joining existing offices in NYC and Albany.
- The open house will introduce Tompkins County and the Central New York Region to AFJ, whose mission is to “support families of incarcerated people and people with criminal records, empower them as advocates and mobilize them to marshal their voting power and achieve systemic change.”
- The AFJ CNY Regional Office is housed in the Multicultural Resource Center.
WHO: Families of incarcerated people, those who have been incarcerated, people with criminal records, Municipal Officials, County Legislators, Human Services Agencies and Community Organizations are invited to attend and learn about AFJ.
